I’m a self taught photographer. I began my photography journey by reading books and magazines. But in the end it was just me and the camera. 

My first camera was a Pentax K-1000; I learned both the technical and creative side of photography by using a manual camera. With the advent of the digital age, I began shooting with a digital camera. My first digital camera was a Canon Elph, which I purchased in 2001. And then the drone became a useful tool which I have now incorporated into my photography.

I currently use a Sony A7 IV mirrorless camera and iPhone 13 Pro. In addition, I have two drones, a DJI Phantom IV Pro Advanced 2.0 and a DJI Mini 3 Pro.

I believe both photographers and painters share many similarities. The difference is the tools we use, painters paint with a brush, and photographers paint with a camera.
